Bob-A Name Spurned By History

The man in this essay likes to complain. In the story he relegates the name bob while redundantly using the name. I think he is just looking for a laugh when he says "Bob is a dumb name." He probably thinks it is awkward and isn't a big fan of his name, but when isn't there a time when somebody questions their name.
I think that when Greene was substituting the name, he was trying to show that the name would lose it's luster. I don't think the name itself of these famous people is what is cool about them. If these people were always named Bob, they would be just as famous. And what about Bob Dylan? That guy is the man! One of the greatest musicians to ever walk the earth, his name was Bob.
I think this essay altogether wasn't that great. I don't really like humorous essays.
